MCPHERSON, Kan. — From now until Jan. 15, 2024, those McPherson residents wishing to drop off their natural holiday trees for disposal and chipping will be able to do so.
The drop off area will be in a designated area in the parking lot at the McPherson Water Park, 511 W. Lakeside Drive, near Lakeside Park. The trees will be chipped every Friday and mulch can be taken from piles in the southeast corner of the parking lot.
Trees taken to this site must be clear of all decorations and any plastic before being placed in the bin. For more information about the disposal, contact the McPherson Park Department at 620-245-2565.
