WABAUNSEE COUNTY—One person died in an accident in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Jeep Wrangler driven by Danny R. Miller, 59, Alma, was westbound on Pavillion Road between 11p.m. Friday and 9a.m. Saturday. The Jeep traveled off the roadway to the south, became air born for approximately 27 feet, struck the south roadside ditch and a tree.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Forensic Medical. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
