NICKERSON, Kan. — Nickerson High School has a new athletic director. USD 309 Superintendent Curtis Nightingale announced that Alex Nuss will become the new AD.
Nuss will also serve as the assistant principal. Nuss has spent the past two years as the AD at Ellinwood High School and has degrees from both Kansas State and Emporia State.
The district also announced the hiring of Craig Gantenbein as the Nickerson Elementary School Principal. Gantenbein has more than 20-years of administrative experience and has college degrees from Kansas Wesleyan and Emporia State.
Also Melissa Beede has been named the new Assistant Principal at South Hutchinson Elementary School. Beede has more than 20 years of teaching experience and has degrees from Emporia State, Bethany College and the University of Kansas.
