Maxine Danner-Adrian, 91, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community. She was born February 9, 1932, in Blackwell, OK. She was a graduate of Braham High School. She was a homemaker, also working as a waitress for Toot’s Café, Sandy’s Kitchen, and the Crusader Grill. She had also been a cashier for Klassen’s Market. She was a member of Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church and enjoyed playing the piano and harmonica.
On September 26, 1950, she married Virgil Danner. He died March 21, 2002. In 2003, she married LaVerne Adrian. He died June 26, 2019.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (Bonnie) Danner, Clearwater, and Mark (Danna) Danner, Burrton; a daughter, Tanis (Morrie) Unruh, Newton; 5 grandchildren, Greta Colbert, Clearwater, Grady Danner, Hutchinson, Stacy Cofield, Newton, Samantha Froese, Inman, Amanda Beaver, Lyons; 10 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Raymond, LeRoy, Melvin, and Marvin Schalk.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community Chapel, with the service starting at 11:00 AM. Services will be live streamed on the Inman Funeral Home Facebook Page. Burial will follow at Buhler Municipal Cemetery.
