HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Interim Hutchinson City Manager Mary Grace Clements announced at Tuesday's City Council meeting that some Hutchinson water customers are going to need to change the way they pay their water bill.
"You're going to start to see, we're going to start to communicate out that as of September 1, we're going to change the ability, for security reasons, we're going to transition from our customer service agents taking water payments over the phone," Clements said. "You're not going to be able to accept that. We will not accept that after Sept. 1."
There are four other ways to pay your bill.
1. You can set up automatic bank draft by filling out a form available at https://www.hutchgov.com/185/Utility-Billing
2. You can make a one-time payment at waterbill.hutchgov.com.
3. You can pay by phone through an automated system at (620) 694-2621 option 2
4. You can pay in person or by mail or in the drop box at 125 East Avenue B.
