
KANSAS CITY—Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Kansas City.
Just before 4p.m. Tuesday, crews responded to a reported house fire in the 1600 block of Drury Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins. . On arrival first responders reported heavy fire from a story and half home.
Crews initiated interior operations using multiple handlines. Searches of the structure were conducted and came back all clear. No injuries were report. The on-scene incident commander has requested additional companies for relief due to today's higher temperatures and humidity.
