Pamela Stella “Pam” Lindstrom, 76, died January 6, 2026, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born October 11, 1949, in Joplin, MO, to Clifford F. and Ida Fern (Jenkins) Watkins.

Pam graduated from Topeka West High School in 1967. She earned her Licensed Practical Nurse certificate from Kaw Valley Nursing School in 1969. Pam became a labor and delivery nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She later returned and got her certifications as a Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) from American Academy of Procedural Coder, Certified Coding Specialist - Physician-based (CCS-P) from American Health Information Management Association and Certified Education Management Coder (CEMC) from American Academy of Procedural Coder. Pam was a compliance coordinator and educator at St. Luke’s Health System, Kansas City. Following her retirement from St. Luke’s Health System, she moved to Hutchinson and worked as a compliance officer at Hutchinson Clinic. Pam enjoyed vacationing on the beaches of North Carolina. She was an avid reader and participated in book clubs. She cherished her time spent with her dogs. Pam was a proud grandmother and loved to tell others about her grandchildren’s accomplishments. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Hutchinson.

On October 20, 1972, she married Clinton “Clint” Lindstrom, in Topeka. They shared over 29 years of marriage, prior to his death on March 12, 2001.

Pam is survived by: her sons, David (Cari) Lindstrom of Kansas City and Jason (Nicolette) Lindstrom of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Kaiti (Kurtis) McCormick of Hays, Zach (Ramona) Lindstrom of Speinshart, Germany, John Lindstrom, Jacob Lindstrom and Natalie Lindstrom, all from Hutchinson; brother, Jim (Sharon) Watkins of Topeka; sister-in-law, Michell (Mick) Young of Melvern; and nieces, Jennifer Powers and family, and Cassie Walter and family, both of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Grace Episcopal Church, 2 Hyde Park Dr., Hutchinson, with Fr. Ted Blakely officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. Saturday, at Grace Episcopal Church. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
