KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are now investigating a homicide after a man found wounded in Kansas City died.
Just after 4p.m. Friday, police responded to NE 34th and NE Chouteau Trafficway in Kansas City after reports of a stolen vehicle, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'.
First responders found a man suffering gunshot trauma inside a vehicle. On Sunday Forte' reported police learned the victim died of his injuries.
Police have not reported additional information including the name of the victim.
