HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Healthy Harvey Coalition is providing an opportunity for self-care on Mother's Day weekend with their Midtown Arboretum Fun and Wellness event in Newton on May 13.
The event will take place at the Newton Arboretum.
The day’s itinerary will host a variety of activities including:
Zumba offered by the YMCA.
A free blood pressure check with Health Ministries Clinic.
Mental wellness activity by Health Ministries Clinic.
Bike safety with Walk & Roll Harvey.
There will also be a variety of kids' activities.
Then Health Ministries Clinic will have plenty of giveaway opportunities. Prizes include two adult bikes, two kids' bikes, a Mother's Day wellness basket, and 10 free smart blood pressure monitors for the first 10 participants to get their blood pressure checked.
The Healthy Harvey Coalition’s Midtown Arboretum Fun and Wellness event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The Midtown Arboretum is located at 100 W 8th St. in Newton, Kansas.
