CLOUD COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on new charges after a weekend arrest.

Just before 9:30 p.m. Friday, police responded to report of a burglary in the 600 Block of East 6th Street in Concordia, according to a media release.

The investigation led to the arrest of 31-year-old Adam Scott McConnell on a Reno County warrant for a probation violation and requested charges of attempted burglary.

McConnell is being held in the Cloud County jail. He has a previous felony conviction for criminal possession of a firearm by a felon, according to the Kansas Dept. of Corrections.
