SALINE COUNTY, Kan. — According to the Kansas Geological Survey, there was a 3.5 magnitude earthquake centered about four miles east of Assaria in southern Saline County at about 2 miles deep at around 5:45 a.m.
Social media posts show that the earthquake was felt as far south as north of Canton in McPherson County. Just after 7a.m., the Saline County Sheriff's office reported no calls about the quake, no damage or injuries have been reported.
