HUTCHINSON, Kan. — There is a scam that says it is connected to the Kansas State Fair showing up on personal devices. Officials say scammers are sending messages posing as the fair.
The message looks like it comes from the fair’s page and says you’ve been selected as the winner of a giveaway. It then tells you to click a link to sign up.
Scammers could get access to your personal information if you try to open the link.
If you get a message like this, report the message as spam and do not open the link.
