HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Dragons improved to 10-0 at home with a 60-48 victory over Garden City Saturday night.
Mel Kailahi led the way for Hutchinson (14-4, 8-4) with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
The Dragons got 14 points from Mya Williams and a near double-double from Tor'e Alford (12 points and nine rebounds).
Kealani Neves paced the Broncbusters (11-5, 6-5) with 13 points.
Garden City led by one briefly with 2:27 left in the first quarter. But Hutchinson built a nine-point lead going into the break and led for 34:23.
