RENO COUNTY, Kan. — Reno County Administrator Randy Partington let the Board of County Commissioners know at their meeting on Wednesday that he will have an item for them with grant administration related to the Yoder water district at their first meeting in January.
"I sent it to Ranson Financial," Partington said. "I also sent it to SCKEDD. I didn't hear back from SCKEDD. Ranson came back with a proposal, they would take care of the loan and grant, we do have a grant for $600,000 on this project. We will need someone that's paying close attention. They'll work through the end of construction of the project and their fee is $20,000."
Commissioners just wanted to be sure this was a fairly standard fee, and Partington said it was for the amount of hours it will take them for the administrative functions.
Approval of the fee will be on the January 10, 2024 agenda.
