Norma Ann “Annie” Chesnut, 70, of Haven, went to sleep December 12, 2024, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born July 22, 1954, in Beatrice, NE, to Henry R. and Loretta F. (Agena) Kress.
Ann attended Sterling High School, Sterling, NE. She enjoyed being a “domestic engineer”, but her favorite title was mother.
On July 28, 1983, she married Dean Chesnut, in Lincoln, NE.
Annie is survived by: her husband of over 41 years; three sons, Andrew Chesnut of Haven, Brent Chesnut of Wichita, and Colton Chesnut of Haven; and three brothers.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; three sisters; and five brothers.
At Annie’s request, there will be no service. Private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Annie enjoyed volunteering as President of the Haven Golf Club and mowing the Haven Golf Course. Memorials are suggested to the Haven Golf Club, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
