HUTCHINSON, Kan. — If you see non-emergency issues that need City of Hutchinson attention, such as potholes, graffiti, traffic signal/sign problems, code violations, and the like, Hutchinson Mayor Jon Richardson wants you to let the city know online.
"There's a program on the city website called SeeClickFix," Richardson said. "You can report issues like this and it puts it on a map. It also allows department heads to trace where these issues are and then address it. It changes colors as it's been looked at, it's been assessed, it's been handled, it's been closed out, as far as a complaint ticket."
The City will acknowledge newly submitted issues and forward them to the appropriate City departments to take care of the requests. You will receive email updates and can come back to the City's website to check the status of submitted issues.
"It shows a map of the city and different types of issues," Richardson said Wednesday. "I pulled it up right now and there's a dirt alley maintenance grading and repair issue on 8th. It goes through, is it new, has it been looked at, has it been worked on, has it been closed out, so you can see progress. It gives better traceability on these issues."
Separate issues should be submitted as separate SeeClickFix reports.
