Amelia Ann “Annie” Ochs |1955-2023|

Amelia Ann “Annie” Ochs, 67, died January 26, 2023, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  She was born April 10, 1955, in Hutchinson, to Joseph I. and Mary Sylvina (Caudillo) Mendoza.

Annie graduated from Trinity Catholic High School.  She worked as a receptionist, retiring from Prairie Star Health Center.  Annie’s greatest enjoyment was spending quality time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandson.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.

On August 23, 1975, she married Stanley R. Ochs, in Hutchinson.

Annie is survived by:  her husband of almost 48 years, Stanley R. Ochs; daughter, Heather Jones (Eric); son, Stanley J. Ochs, all of Hutchinson; siblings, Robert Mendoza (Debbie Gosztola) of Hurst, TX, Mike Mendoza (Shirley), Paul Mendoza (Beverly), Patti Keen (Mike), all of Hutchinson, Mark Mendoza (Margarita) of San Antonio, TX, Thomas Mendoza (Jamie) of Lawton, OK, and Julie Lawrence (Aaron) of Chino Hills, CA; grandchildren, Bria Jones (Jessie Burtnett), TreˊVaughn Jones (Cami Brown) and Katelyn Burkhart; great-grandson, Luka Alexander Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Avandre Alexander Jones.

Parish Rosary will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, with Father Eric M. Weldon officiating.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
