William Leroy Pelzl  |1949-2022| 

William Leroy Pelzl, 73, of Medicine Lodge, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, KS.

He was born on January 5, 1949 in Hardtner, the son of William Henry Pelzl and Ethel (Patterson) Pelzl. On May 10, 1974, he married Deana McLemore in Medicine Lodge. She survives.

Butch was a farmer and heavy equipment operator. He was Catholic by faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Deana Pelzl of Medicine Lodge, are two sons, Bill (Barb) Pelzl of St. Clairsville, OH and Rick (Natalie) Pelzl of Medicine Lodge; two daughters, Tracy (Jeff) Schmitt of Pryor, OK and Bobbi Robins of Huntsville, AL; Six grandchildren & three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shelly Chain and Frances Land of Medicine Lodge.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Clint, one grandson Clint Jr, and one sister Virginia Brown.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, 67104.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.
