HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three pedestrians were hurt when they were struck by a vehicle at the Kansas State Fair Friday night.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Chevy Aveo driven by 22-year-old Dylan E A Shelton of Hutchinson was eastbound on State Fair Road between Gates 5 and 6, where pedestrians were in the roadway.
The Aveo struck two adults, 62-year-old Michael D. Musick and 55-year-old Kristen M. Musick of Hutchinson. A juvenile was also struck.
The adult victims were taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with suspected serious injuries, information on the juvenile victim's condition is protected data and not provided in the report.
Shelton was not hurt and was properly restrained, according to the report.
