Laura is passionate about Hutchinson and has enjoyed serving on many local non profit boards as well as USD 313 Board of Education for the past 14 years.   Upon the passing of her father, Nation Meyer, Laura wanted to honor his love of Downtown Hutchinson.  She collaborated with the Chamber and the Community Foundation to pursue a Downtown Master Plan.   This plan was the beginning of the journey to re-purpose the historical Landmark Building.   Laura and her husband Michael have 3 grown children and they are thrilled that one of them has chosen to call Hutchinson home with her new husband.
