
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A workshop for Kansas educators to help them count correctly for school funding purposes has been rescheduled.
The Counting KIDS workshop that was due to take place in Hutchinson on Wednesday, will now take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sep. 8.
The workshop is led by Laurel Murdie, director of the Kansas State Department of Education’s Fiscal Auditing team.
The workshop is designed for school leaders to learn more about counting kids on count day and the information needed to enter for funding purposes.
The official count day in Kansas is Sept. 20.
