
Aidan Riley Shane Douglas, 19, of Bel Aire, died December 24, 2024, at Salina Regional Health Center. He was born September 23, 2005, in Hutchinson, to Shane Douglas and Chelsea Kramer.
Aidan had a large heart and was willing to help everyone. In his last act of selflessness, he was an organ donor and saved four lives on Christmas day.
Aidan was ornery, with an infectious smile and personality that put those around him at ease. He enjoyed drawing, skateboarding, tattoos, and putting together musical beats on his phone. Aidan was very family-oriented and had a lot of love for his family.
Aidan is survived by: his mother, Chelsea Kramer of Hutchinson; father, Shane (Jessica) Douglas of Bel Aire; siblings, Blake Douglas of Hutchinson, Calyb Douglas, Adelyn Douglas, and Remington Douglas, all of Bel Aire, Ashlyn Rodriguez of Ellsworth; grandparents, Gary and Dori Douglas of Hutchinson, Shana Cole, James (Shona) Johnson, and Kellie Fitzgerald; great-grandparents, William Gwinner, Chet and Debbie Pinkston; aunts, Tasha (Eldon) Sublett, Skylar Lyrik Kramer and Katie Kramer; uncle, Michael Pinkham; cousins, Max, Zander, and Nikon Sublett; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and “bro’s”; beloved canine companions, Drako and Buster.
He was preceded in death by: grandmothers, Mary Keeley and Sue Pinkston; grandfathers, Bill Douglas, Lawrence Kramer, and Dan Roberts.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Crossroads Christian Church, 4310 N. Monroe, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kevin Guffey officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park.
Friends may sign the book Sunday 1 to 8 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
