HUTCHINSON, Kan. — According to a release from the Hutchinson Fire Department, there is a training exercise for Kansas Task Force 5 going on all day Wednesday at the Kansas State Fairgrounds.

This is a deployment readiness exercise. Crews will be working on establishing a Base of Operations, urban search and rescue techniques, GPS plotting and technology review.

Kansas Task Force 5 includes Hutchinson, Wichita, Ark City, Winfield, McPherson, Great Bend, Derby, Newton, Mulvane and Sedgwick County Fire Departments.&nbsp;
