SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The South Hutchinson Police Department introduced their RETRO PD unit on social media this week.
If you see it out and about, yes it is an actual patrol unit.
The department tried to replicate the Crown Vics that the agency used to use in the mid 2000s.
The difference is this is a slick top and the older vehicles had the bulky light bar on top and they were silver.
The department presented to the City Council on purchasing two new police vehicles to replace ones that were not pursuit rated at the council meeting last week.
