
KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 7:30 a.m. Monday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Honda CRV driven by Terry Lee Sweeney, 71, Beldenville, Wisconsin, was westbound on U.S. 54 seven miles west of Kingman.
The vehicle struck a deer that entered the roadway.
EMS transported a passenger Doris LaVonne Dunham-Sweeney, 72, Beldenville, Wisconsin, to the Pratt Regional Medical Center. The driver was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
