Ruth S. Adams, passed away on February 8, 2023. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, then moved to Norfork, Arkansas, again returning to Kansas in 1965. She attended school in Valley Center and was a 1976 graduate. Later in life she became a registered dietitian and worked at the Cheney Golden Age Home. In 2022 she took retirement from Smithfield where she worked as a security guard.
Ruth is survived by her children Tim (Kristy) Schwind, Tiffanie (Jeremy) Lynch, Troy (Hollie) Carroll, Thomas Holmes and Tasha (Grant) Adams; grandchildren Trinity Schwind, Grant Schwind, Keaton Baker, Damien Gathers, Melissa Schwind, Joseph Schwind, Kaitlynn Haines, Destiny Lynch, Jeremy Lynch Jr, Quenton Carroll, Ella Carroll, Baylor Carroll, Addelyn Pauly, Rodney Holmes, Kash Holmes, Madysone Maxwell, Jaykub Adams, Rayden Adams, Octavia Adams and Jonah Adams; great grandchildren Akasha Gathers and Gnaues Lehrkamp; brothers James Adams and Doug Adams; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Sylvia Ruth Moore and step father Russell Moore, father Marvin Adams Sr, brother Marvin Adams Jr, grandparents Ruth and Leslie Clark, and Ethel and James Adams.
Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 25th, at Faith Church 325 N. Emporia, Valley Center, Kansas.
