Earl W. Ediger passed away April 13, 2026, in Hutchinson.

Earl attended Buhler High School graduating in 1961. He then attended Hutchinson Community College graduating after 2 years.

He worked at Cessna and Eaton Corp. and retired after being there for 39 years.

Earl's interests and hobbies included: fishing, finding a good garage sale, building and flying RC planes and sailplanes. He loved electronics, especially sound systems and ran the PA system at the First Mennonite Church on Sundays. He was a member of the "Hutch Bunch", a local RC Club in Hutchinson and was a member of First Mennonite Church since 1966.

Survivors include: wife, Elaine Ediger; son, Michael Ediger (wife, Brooke) and their son, Tyler; son, Roger Ediger (wife, Jessica) and their children, Ryan and Jordan; and sister, Lily Enns.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at First Mennonite Church, 52 Rambler, Hutchinson, and will be announced at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Mennonite Church, Hutchinson or Et Cetera Shop, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
