
KANSAS CITY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in Kansas City.
Just before 12:30p.m. Tuesday, crews responded to a reported house fire in 7700 block of E. 113th street in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
Crews reported heavy smoke from a single-story residence on arrival. Searches of the structure came back all clear. The occupants were able to self-evacuate. KCFD contained the fire to the kitchen. No injuries were reported at this incident. Red Cross ordered for two adults and one infant.
