HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Community College football team will travel to Canyon, Tex. to face Iowa Western in the 2024 Credit Union 1 NJCAA Division I Football Championship, presented by Zurich Insurance, on Wednesday, Dec. 18. The game will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. at Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium on the campus of West Texas A&M University.
Voice of the Blue Dragons, Sean Boston, visited with Roger Remlinger, the executive director with the Canyon Chamber of Commerce about hosting the national title game in west Texas.
Remlinger touches on what it means to host the game, his must see and do activities for Blue Dragon fans, plus much more.
The game will be televised on ESPNU, as well as broadcasted on the flagship station for Blue Dragon athletics, KHUT-FM, as well as sister station KWBW-AM/FM. Sean Boston and Daren Dunn will have the call from west Texas with Countdown to Kickoff starting at 6:30 p.m.
