Kelly C. Everhart, 62, of Hutchinson, died October 24, 2024, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 6, 1962, in Hutchinson, to Dale and Donna “Susan” (Ruble) McConnell.
Kelly graduated from Nickerson High School with the class of 1980. She began her working career at Alco in Hutchinson then onto Kingsley-Wagner auto supply store where she assisted with shipping and deliveries. Kelly worked in management at Ryder Truck Rental in Hutchinson. She operated an in-home daycare for more than 20 years. Kelly was a manager at Walgreens where she worked for more than 10 years.
She loved the University of Kansas Basketball and watched every game she could. One of Kelly’s favorite pastimes was watching and helping at dirt track races. She enjoyed planting flowers, swimming in her pool, going to the lake, and tanning during the summer. Kelly treasured her four-legged fur babies, Harley and Dilly which will miss her. Raylin crossed the rainbow bridge before Kelly and was there to greet her.
On July 29, 2010, she married Tracy Everhart in Hutchinson. They shared 14 years of marriage before her death.
Kelly is survived by: husband, Tracy Everhart; daughters, Sarah Stucky of Hutchinson and Shelby (Ethyn Hafner) Stucky of Mt. Hope; brother, Johnathan McConnell of Hutchinson; sister, Shannon Redenbaugh of Hutchinson; nieces, Kren Littrell and Katie Young.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Michael McConnell; niece, Casey McConnell.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel with Reverand Cindy Dubovich officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may sign her memorial Friday through Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Family will receive friends Sunday, October 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
