BUHLER, Kan. — The United States Navy Band, from Washington, D.C., will present a free concert at Central Community Church in Wichita, Kansas on March 6th at 7:00 p.m. and a Buhler band student has been invited as a guest student performer.
According to a social media post, French Horn player Hannah Khan has been invited as a guest student performer for the performance.
The Navy Band is the Navy's premier musical organization. The band performs frequently at the White House and Pentagon ceremonies and tours annually throughout the country.
The band will perform a variety of popular and classical favorites. In addition, members of local high school bands, including Khan, will join the Navy Band on stage to perform John Philip Sousa's "Washington Post."
The concert is free, but tickets are required.
