Robert L. Hull, 71, of Hesston, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton. He was born on February 17, 1953 in Osborne, Kansas, to Ted and Audrey (Thomas) Hull.
Robert grew up in Downs, Kansas, and went to the schools in Downs. He later attended Beloit Vo-Tech for welding.
He worked at Hesston Corporation for several years as a welder and later as a Quality Assurance inspector until he retired in 2015.
He was united in marriage to Judy L. Billings on September 7, 1971 in Downs, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his children, Robert Lynn Hull Jr. (Angie) of Cookeville, TN, and Candace Kemp of Hesston; grandchildren Brandy Hull, Austin Hull, Katie Ortiz, Cole Hall, Ben (Shelby) Patridge, Shaylee Kemp, Laven Kemp and Brynlee Kemp; and brothers, Ted (Diane) Hull of Norton and Alvin Hull of Downs.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dixie Wilcoxson; aunt and uncle, Margaret and Carl DeBey; and nephew, Rusty Bird
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2024 at the First Christian Church of Downs, 1017 Morgan Ave, Downs, KS 67437 . Burial will follow at the Gaylord Cemetery, Gaylord, Kansas. Family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 4, at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston.
