Formal charges brought in drug arrests

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Formal charges have been brought against five area residents who were arrested in a drug deal late last month.

Twenty-two-year-old Darianne Frischenmeyer, 47-year-old Steven Releford, and 29-year-old Mary Maschek are charged with possession of meth, and Alprazolam with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Twenty-seven-year-old Cheyanne Fors and 45-year-old Joseph Gilmore are both charged with drug possession. Gilmore is also charged with possession of a stolen firearm.

 The five were arrested after police noticed Frischenmeyer and the others parked in the 600 block of N. Maple around 9:15 p.m. on November 29th. Frischenmeyer was wanted by police on a warrant at the time.
