
A Wind Advisory is in effect for Monday. South winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected in portions of central, south central and southeast Kansas. Relative humidity is also forecast to be as low as 25 to 30 percent.
The Wind Advisory is from noon to 7 p.m. CDT Monday.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use caution if operating high profile vehicles, especially on east to west oriented roads.
Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly and become very difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
