WASHINGTON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a theft at retails stores in Kansas and are attempting to locate suspects believed still in the state.
They are alleged to have been involved in a theft at the Family Dollar Store, on Tuesday in Belleville, according to a social media report from police.
The suspects were in Washington County then went west to Republic County targeting Family Dollar Stores "due to the set-up of the store cash register system allowing them to be able to get away with items without paying."
The suspects are driving a white 4-door with damage to front-left bumper area.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
