
Elton A. Miller, 77, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 26, 1946, near Haven, Kansas and was the son of Albert and Edna Miller. Elton was a member and deacon of the Old Order Amish Church of Yoder, Kansas.
Elton was a dairy farmer and carpenter, but his biggest source of enjoyment was his wife, eight children, 32 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Elton is survived by: his wife, Irene of 57 years; children, Darrel (Crystal), Dan (Katie), Vernon (Becky), David Eli (Debbie), Nate (Doris), Katie (Tim), Aaron (Liz), and Rose (Jake); as well as 32 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, two brothers, Floyd and Freddy; two sisters, Clara Mae and Ida; one great granddaughter; three brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2023, and funeral will be 9 am Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
Funeral services and visitation will be held at the home residence and family farm, located at 10106 South Mayfield Road, Haven, Kansas. Final interment and burial will follow the service at the Yoder Amish Cemetery.
