HUTCHINSON, Kan.— Superior Boiler will be hosting a grand opening event for the dedication of their new manufacturing facility on Wednesday, September 1 at the new facility at 714 Corey Road.
This marks the completion of a cross-country move for the watertube boiler division, formerly located in Richmond, VA. Superior announced in March of 2000 that they were moving the Richmond facility to Hutchinson and acquired the former Mega Manufacturing facility just west of their current operations. The plant has been operating since June. The company had purchased the English Boiler company in 2016.
The event will kick off at 4 p.m. with refreshments followed by comments from Governor Kelly and the ribbon cutting.
