HUTCHINSON, Kan. — If the rain kept you from coming out on Monday to the Kansas State Fair, but you had already purchased a voucher for a ride wristband for Dillons Dollar Day, you can still get some value out of it.
"There was a special Dillons Dollar Day wristband," said State Fair General Manager Bryan Schulz. "There was a lot of people questioning, I'm not going out in the rain, what can we do? We worked with the carnival and the carnival agreed to, if they didn't use their voucher, they could bring it in for a $5 upgrade, they could use it any day that we have wristband day."
Go to the Fair ticket office with your voucher to get your value.
"Do not go to the ticket windows at the Carnival," Schulz said. "They will not know what to do. They'll just say it's not valid."
Remaining wristband days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
