
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — TECH, Inc. announces the appointment of four new members of its Operations Board of Directors, as well as the full slate of officers and board members for 2023.
Joining the Operations Board of Directors are Angie Bergmeier, Tasha Erickson, Sheila Meggers, and Scott Miles. “The addition of Angie, Tasha, Sheila, and Scott will strengthen an already very strong board of directors. We look forward to the expertise that each of these individuals bring and in addition to their passion for TECH’s mission,” says Kevin Hess, President/CEO of TECH.
Angie joins the TECH Operations Board after being an avid supporter of the non-profit, especially the TECH Art Program. She said, “TECH has been near and dear to our hearts from the work that they do for our company Shield Industries, to the last piece of art we purchased. This program is a jewel in our community, and I will do what I can to keep supporting the future of our participants!” Angie is the CFO at QB Enterprises.
Tasha Erickson joins the TECH Operations Board as a business leader in the Hutchinson Community. “We are so lucky to have an organization like TECH in our community. It’s a privilege to serve on the TECH board and I am really excited to learn more about all of things they are doing to make our community better,” says Erickson. Tasha is the AVP of Human Resources for Heartland Credit Union in Hutchinson.
Sheila brings a unique perspective to the Operations Board with a background in education. She says, “I love TECH’s vision of helping individuals with disabilities achieve their potential. I am continually impressed by all the opportunities they provide as they help individuals continue to develop and grow.” Sheila is the Assistant Superintendent of Finance for USD 308 Hutchinson Public Schools.
Scott joins the TECH Operations Board after being introduced to TECH and having a personal connection to TECH’s mission. He said, “I believe TECH Clients are the embodiment of how humanity should behave: Recognizing inner beauty, comfortable expressing emotions, being true to who they are, brutally honest and most of all they understand family affects everything and love is meant to be shared! I am humbled when imaging all the things I will learn being a part of this beautiful TECH family.” Scott is the Owner of Central States Recovery in Hutchinson.
