McPherson Chamber welcomes Advocate Counseling and Therapeutic Services

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Chamber of Commerce has welcomed Advocate Counseling and Therapeutic Services of Kansas, LLC as a new Chamber member.

Jamie Whitehouse is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist who has provided therapy in Kansas since 2010 for children, teens, adults, couples, and families. She owns her private practice, Advocate Counseling and Therapeutic Services of Kansas (ACTS of KS) in McPherson, Kansas. Whitehouse and her graduate-level student interns provide counseling for children, teens, adults, couples, and families.  

Whitehouse is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) to help those with PTSD, various extents of trauma, anxiety, childhood wounds, fears and phobias, and more.

Whitehouse is passionate about working with people who struggle with past trauma, anxiety, parenting issues, marital struggles, and general women's issues. She loves opportunities to walk alongside people in their journey of understanding why they do what they do and who they were created to be. 

Whitehouse travels nationwide speaking and teaching about the Enneagram personality assessment to businesses, organizations, churches, small groups, families, couples, and individuals. She was also the professor and director of the psychology program at Central Christian College of Kansas for 12 years.
