HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Today, November 29, Giving Tuesday, the Salvation Army of Reno County has a great way to help support the community.
Sam’s Club is matching up to $250,000 for the local territory and each of the other 3 territories in the United States from their $1,000,000 donation.
Donating today by following this link will allow your donation to be matched dollar for dollar and will help the Salvation Army's fundraising efforts for Reno County.
Your donations will go towards helping families with food and toys for children this holiday season, and also help provide assistance to Reno County for the rest of the year.
They have over 200 kids more than last year who have signed up for toys and food. At this point they are far behind where they need to be with financial, food, and toy donations. Many of these families are requesting assistance for the first time.
