Dan L Roberts, 69 of Burrton, KS passed away peacefully at his home on June 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Dan was born on January 1st, 1957, to Dick and Marlene Roberts in Hutchinson KS. While young, Dan attended several different elementary schools but graduated from Greensburg High School in 1975. After graduation he moved to Burrton and went to work for his grandfather at S&K Oil Company. After 20 yrs in the oil field business Dan changed professions and began working at "Royal Flush" Plumbing Co until his retirement in 2024.
Dan was predeceased by his parents, Dick and Marlene; his twin sister, Diane Williams, and brother Brett Roberts, both of Hutchinson.
Dan is survived by his companion Tami Clark from Paola, KS; son, Jason (Jamie) Roberts of Enid Ok; daughters, Michelle Meyer (Matt) from Hillsboro, KS, Gentry (Aaron)Roberts-Gorges of Wichita, KS; stepdaughter, Misty Blitch, Enid, OK; brothers, Mike (Joy) Roberts, Ponca City, OK, Pat (Cindy) Roberts of Shelby, NC, and Tim Roberts(Sherrie) of Plevna KS; grandchildren, Ciara & Isaac Roberts, Anna & Avery Meyer, Alyson & Justin Nichol, Nova & Wren Gorges, Bradley Roberts, Kristyn Mattox, and Kaitlyn Ross.
Dan enjoyed being outside, fishing on the river, traveling to different states, but his favorite place to be, was Colorado. His children & grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Dan will be fondly remembered for his kindness, love of music, and "Hippie Vibes". He would say "Hold on to your identity, lose your ego, and enjoy the dance like ashes in the wind!” Per Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements and care entrusted to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel & Crematory.
