Travis Lyn Hett, 55, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away January 3, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 13, 1968 in Marion, Kansas, the son of Lyndon and Neva (Kelsey) Hett.
Travis graduated from Marion High School.
He worked at AGCO in Hesston for 30 years as a machinist, and later worked at Millennium in Newton for two years.
Travis is survived by his son, Jeff (Heather) Hett of Newton; daughter, Ashley (Steven) Honeycutt of South Carolina; parents, Lyndon and Neva Hett of Marion; four grandchildren, plus one of the way, Rosalina Hett, Gabriel Hett (expected anyday), Brooke, Julian and Aaron Honeycutt; brother, Dusty (Misty) Hett of Marion; sister-in-law, Geraldine Hett of Wichita; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tracy Hett; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Lucille Hett; and maternal grandparents, Don and Viola Kelsey.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2024 at Aulne Church, 1404 Pawnee Rd, Marion, KS 66861. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, PO Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
