HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Wesley Towers recognized its occupational therapists this week in honor of Occupational Therapy Month.
Megan Waldren
Megan has been an occupational therapist for 26 years. She has worked in hospitals, long-term care, inpatient/outpatient rehab, and home health services. She truly enjoys helping people gain their independence and get back to their lives and homes after a surgery or health issue. She has been married to her husband Jim for 30 years and has 1 son and 3 daughters.
Alta Hawkins
Alta has lived in Hutchinson for 23 years. She has been involved in healthcare since 2007. She graduated from Brown Mackie College in Salina and has worked as a certified occupational therapist assistant for 10 years, mostly in skilled nursing settings. She enjoys helping residents and patients return to their daily lives and activities.
Dr. Utakarsh "Sammy" Malge
Sammy has been a licensed occupational therapist for 11 years. Four of those were spent in his home country of India.
He has experience in multi-cultural health companies and has been flexible in learning new healing methods. He received his doctorate in occupational therapy in 2023. He currently resides in McPherson and enjoys walks alongside rivers and trails with his 6-year-old “fur baby”, a golden retriever named Millie.
