Caitlyn M. Simmons, 28, died December 14, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita. She was born March 24, 1996, in Pottstown, PA, to Donald “Greg” and Tracy (Jones) Simmons.
Caitlyn was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her two daughters and future husband. She was a wondering soul with a free spirit. Caitlyn was loving and accepting of all people and was willing to help others. Caitlyn recently earned her high school diploma from the ESSDACK learning center. She worked as a dietary aide at Wesley Towers starting in 2016. She was an organ donor which gave life to others upon her death.
Caitlyn is survived by: husband-to-be, Marqueze “Peanut” Hollins; daughters, Ahmia and Willow; mother, Tracy (Shawn) Simmons; siblings, Kelly Boyd, Gregory Simmons, Matthew Simmons, Cody Simmons, Cierra Simmons, Corey Simmons; nieces and nephews, Kierra, Mylee, Zayne, Adeya, Jade, Connor, Killian, Miya, and Zemira; grandparents, Bobbi Latham, Lauralee and Robert Donaldson, Gloria and Bill Simmons; aunts, Courtney (Dustin) Peak, Dawn Finamore, Erin (Walt) Smoyer; uncle, Travis (Deb) Jones; great-nephew, Nico; in-law’s to be, Lasharie (Donald) Livingston; and numerous cousins and other loved one.
She was preceded in death by father, Donald “Greg” Simmons; grandfather, Lewis “Louie” Latham; uncles, Josh Peak and Ron Simmons.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary, with Deacon Todd Ray officiating. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary.
