RENO COUNTY, Kan. — A Reno County horse farm and rescue dedicated to saving abused and mistreated animals is in need of help after one of their most crucial pieces of equipment broke down.
Storm Creek Horse Farm & Rescue shared on Facebook that their John Deere tractor, which they use daily for unloading round bales, broke last week. According to the fundraiser, the repairs would cost at least $14,000.
With Storm Creek relying solely on donations, Purple Reins 4 Healing Hearts , another non-profit aimed at providing equine therapy, set up a GoFundMe to help Lisa and Dustin Lloyd with the cost of repairs.
