
Carl G. Wenger, 84, of Hesston, Kansas, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Mercy Hospital. He was born May 26, 1939 in Goessel, Kansas, the son of Harry D. and Gladys (Koehn) Wenger.
He was united in marriage to Deola Becker on January 31, 1960 in Galva, KS. She survives of their home.
Carl lived in Walnut Hill, Florida from 1970 through 2001 then spent his retirement years in Hesston. He was a member of Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in rural Hesston. Carl was a farmer and was also known for his mechanical skills.
He is also survived by his son, Bryan Wenger and his wife, Andra of Hiawatha, KS.; two daughters, Debbie Mininger and her husband, Kevin, and Sharla Koehn and her husband, Mike, all of Walnut Hill, Florida; brothers, Franklin (Karen) Wenger of Moundridge, Lee (Vivian) Wenger of Bella Vista, Arkansas; sister, Grace (Wayne) Wenger of Dalhart, Texas; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Waldon Wenger and Galen Wenger.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in rural Hesston. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday, July 24 at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
