On Friday, May 31, 2024, Julene G. Allen (Cabeceiras), loving wife, mother of four, grandmother of 18, and great-grandmother of two, passed away at the age of 70.
Julene was born in March 1954 in California, and was raised by her parents, Sonia (Crouch) Yutzy and Donald Cabeceiras. For much of her life, she worked in the customer service field, which stemmed from her love of helping people and talking on the phone. Julene was, of course, also dedicated to raising her four children. She married Raymond George Allen in October 1996, and they resided in Haven, Kansas until her death.
Julene had a passion for being involved in her kids’ and grandchildrens’ lives. She frequently attended sports, music, and, celebratory events, supporting all those that she loved and considered family. She was an avid Raiders football fan, and often shared her strong opinions on that and many other topics that were on her mind. She was known for being strong-willed, optimistic, and kind-hearted by so many; she always saw the best in people.
Julene is preceded in death by her father, Donald Cabeceiras, and husband, Eric Williams Sr. She is survived by her mother, Sonia, husband, George, sister, Roxanne Hilbert, children: Eric (Andrea) Williams, Donald (Corn) Corcoran, Dennene (Don) Conley, and Katy Schmidt, 18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and countless more who loved her.
