HUTCHINSON, Kan. — June 21-25, 2021, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson is inviting Hutchinson residents to join them for National Boys & Girls Club Week to show their support of the Club and its impact on the community.
"If you decide to dine out on Tuesday, we encourage you to visit Panda Express," said Lindsey Fields with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson. "Anytime from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., your meal will benefit our club. Just tell them that you want it to go to the Boys & Girls Club." If ordering online use promotional code 325187.
Wednesday is another opportunity to not cook at home and help the club.
"Wednesday it is wings day," Fields said. "Go to Buffalo Wild Wings anytime between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. and again, just let your server know, please make this benefit the Boys & Girls Club."
There's also an open house as part of the celebration. It happens Thursday.
"The location we're inviting people to come in to is within the Chamber of Commerce building, actually," Fields said. "It's called The Mine. It's at 111 North Walnut, Suite B. That is our teen programming. It serves mostly 7th and 8th graders. I always think the tour is about the best thing you can do."
The open house is from 8:00 to 9: 30 a.m. Drop in and see what's brewing at The Mine. Enjoy a short tour of the site while sipping on great coffee from Scuttlebutts. For more information on the Club's programs, go to bgchutch.com or call (620) 665-7171.
