Katie H. Yoder, 80, of South Hutchinson, passed away to see her Heavenly Father May 23, 2024, at Mennonite Friendship Communities. She was born September 19, 1943, in Hutchinson, to Henry A. and Mary (Yoder) Miller.
Katie attended East Eureka School. She was a homemaker, loved canning vegetables with her sisters and participating in quilting bees, and in recent years loved joining in the social activities at Mennonite Friendship Communities. Katie was passionate about her faith in Christ and was very active in her church, Maranatha Church, in rural Hutchinson.
On April 10, 1965, Katie married Lloyd H. Yoder, in Hutchinson. They celebrated 51 years of marriage before his death on January 23, 2017.
She is survived by: her son, Curtis L. Yoder (Tiziana Del Vecchio) of Casagiove, Italy; daughter, Gayle Yoder of Topeka; grandchildren, Matthew Warren of El Dorado, Alexia Yoder of Monticello, MN, Christian Tyler Yoder and Darin Yoder of Centennial, CO, Katianna Yoder of Casagiove, Italy; siblings, Eldon Miller of Clayhole, KY, Melvin Miller (Alma) of Walnut Creek, OH, Fannie Yoder of Broadway, VA, Irene Yoder of Leburn, KY, John Miller (Darlene) of South Hutchinson, Velma Yoder (Henry) of Hutchinson, Ruth Miller (Ervin) of Overland Park, Arlene Mast (Joe) of Cambridge, VA, Esther Miller (John) of Bourbon, IL, Ben Miller (Marlene) of Wichita; sister-in-law, Vi Miller of Crawford, MS; and many extended family members.
Katie was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Dennis Miller; sister-in-law, Ella June Miller; and brothers-in-law, Albert Yoder and Alvin Yoder.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Maranatha Church, 3115 Blanchard Ave. SW, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
